Ari Watts

 

Technical Production Associate

Ari is excited to join the Michigan Shakespeare Festival team as a technician!

 

Ari is an incoming senior at Wayne State University, that has worked on productions like Into the Woods, The Rocky Horror Show, The Prom, Blood at The Root, Dance Capstone '25, My Mother and The Michigan Ohio War, and BRED Hip Hop Festival '24, contributing as a lighting designer, programmer, or electrician, with 6 years of design experience.

Ari also works with 4WALL Detroit, building music festivals as a stagehand and former intern. They've helped build Afronation '24 and recently worked on Movement '25.

​

Outside of work, Ari enjoys watching TikToks, playing Zelda and Valorant, laying down, exploring history rabbit holes online, and visiting new shops and cafés.
