Kate is a Michigan-based composer and sound designer as well as an Artistic Associate here at MSF.


Her recent work has been heard at the Detroit Public Theatre's production of The Beauty Queen of Leenane and the world premier of Noah Hiadle's Birthday Candles.


She is a longstanding artist here at the Michigan Shakespeare Festival - garnering multiple Wilde Award nominations for  shows such as The Killer Angels, Henry IV, Hamlet, Cymbeline, The Winter’s Tale, and Much Ado About Nothing.


Her designs and scores have been heard and at Chicago's Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (for the Equity, Jeff-nominated production, Wrens and The Electric Baby), and BWBTC (Titus Andronicus), 


In addition, Kate's sound designs are featured in QLab 3 Show Control: Projects for Live Performances and Installations published by Focal Press.
