THE OFFICIAL SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN

Sarah is overjoyed to be returning to the Michigan Shakespeare Festival! She was an acting intern in the 2010 season and had always hoped that she would one day come back as a "grown up". 

 

Now based in NYC, Sarah was born and raised in Michigan, and received her first professional acting job 13 years ago playing Juliet in MSF's inaugural season touring Romeo and Juliet. After three years, she slipped on the heels of Lady Capulet and Lady Macbeth for her fourth and final season of what she'll always call one of the best jobs of her life.

 

In 2018, Sarah returned to the Midwest to earn her Acting MFA at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. After three years, she moved back to NYC with an MFA, a brand-new Kansas-born-and-bred husband, and the world's most perfect 11-pound dog. 

 

The Michigan Shakespeare Festival is also the place where Sarah first discovered her love of all things involving weapons and combat. After years of studying with the SAFD, she has shifted her training towards action arts for film, and currently studies with SAGA Action Arts in New York City.

 

Favorite credits include The Moors and Hamlet (UMKC), Brill and Circle Mirror Transformation (Performance Network), and Macbeth (Michigan Shakespeare Festival Tour).
