Shawn is happy to return to the Michigan Shakespeare Festival where audiences have seen him in such disparate roles as: Hamlet (Hamlet, 2014), Puck (Midsummer Night’s Dream, 2015), Prince Hal (Henry IV, 2015) and Trigorin (The Seagull, 2017).

 

A Chicago resident for nearly 25 years, Shawn has been seen on stages all around the country with stints in: New York City, Boston, Miami & Sarasota (Florida), Dallas & Fort Worth (Texas),  Louisville (Kentucky), Pasadena & Berkeley (California), Olney (Maryland).

 

In Chicago, he’s been on stage with: Chicago Shakespeare, The Hypocrites, The House Theatre, Signal Ensemble, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Chicago Children’s Theatre. 

Shawn is also a playwright and musician and, most recently, an audio producer. 

 

Since 2021, Shawn has been the producer of Chicago Children’s Theatre’s Walkie Talkie podcast series, bringing families to neighborhoods and parks in Chicago for one-of-a-kind audio tour theatre.
