Ethan Menzies

Festival Stage Manager

Ethan is excited to be joining Michigan Shakespeare Festival for his first season.

He just finished his final year of graduate school at Wayne State University, earning his M.F.A. in Stage Management.

His previous credits at Wayne include Stage Manager for Julius Caesar, The Prom, and Ritual Being; Assistant Stage Manager for A Meeting of Bodies and Minds, Seven Guitars, I Hate Hamlet, Amélie and The Rocky Horror Show.

Outside of Wayne State, Ethan has been an Assistant Stage Manager at Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater for their 2025 season and the Stage Manager for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Performance Now Theatre Company.

He would like to thank his mother and brother for always supporting him in pursuing a career in Stage Management.
