Khalil is thrilled to be making his debut with the Michigan Shakespeare Festival.
Selected theater credits include work as an actor, director, and writer with Theater Breaking Through Barriers and 2Sheets Theater.
Regional acting credits include Totem Pole Playhouse (Baskerville, Clue), Cape Fear Regional Theatre (The Play That Goes Wrong), Burning Coal Theatre Company (Mlima’s Tale), Theatre Raleigh (The Play That Goes Wrong), PlayMakers Repertory Company (Julius Caesar, Dairyland, The Skin of Our Teeth, As You Like It, A Wrinkle in Time, and more), Tennessee Shakespeare Company (Romeo and Juliet, Julius Caesar), Portland Stage (The Play That Goes Wrong; tours: Julius Caesar, As You Like It), and Profiles Theatre (After, Hellcab).
On screen, Khalil has appeared in Black Adam, Chicago P.D., Defending Jacob, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and The Floor.
He is also on faculty with Theatrical Intimacy Education.
Khalil holds a BA from Bowdoin College and an MFA from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and has taught at the Philadelphia Improv Theater.
