THE OFFICIAL SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN

Matéo  is an actor from Detroit, MI with his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Wayne State University.

 

He is ecstatic to be working with the Michigan Shakespeare Festival Interstate Tour for the first time and taking classical theatre to high schools around the area; his love of theatre actually came from seeing a production at his school and it spurred him to seek a career in it. He's honored to share the stage with other amazingly talented actors and is excited for what the future holds.

 

Thank you to Jan Blixt and the entire team behind the Michigan Shakespeare Festival and Michigan Shakespeare Festival Interstate Tour that helped bring everything together.

 

He's previously worked with Tipping Point Theatre Company on The Squirrels as an ensemble member/production assistant, the Hilberry Gateway Theatre on Murder on the Orient Express as Hercule Poirot, and the Underground Theatre Company on Blood at the Root as Justin.
